 P’NAI OR AT THE MOVIES SATURDAY NIGHT, JANUARY 14TH, 7PM

“13th”   A documentary about racial injustice, the path from slavery in America to Jim Crow to Mass Incarceration.

 MONDAY, JANUARY 16TH MLK MARCH AND RALLY   11:30-2:00

March begins 11:30 am at the Slaves’ Quarters at Independence Hall (6th & Market)  and proceeds to the rally at Mother Bethel AME Church (6th & Lombard) Noon-2:00pm

The March will champion 10 Principles for a Better America with speakers, poetry, music and opportunities to volunteer for action with organizations involved in co-sponsoring the march. 

“100 Days of Faithful Resistance”

POWER will be initiating these trainings and opportunities to take action at the local, state and national level. All members are welcome! Info on actions to follow. Save the dates for upcoming trainings:

January 15 6-8pm      Nonviolent Direct Action Training with EQAT (Quaker Action Team), Second Baptist Church of Germantown
February 6 Sanctuary Training, Time and Location TBD
March 15  Social Medial for Faithful Resistance Training
